Since GW are putting the prices up as much as 25% now is our chance to do an order. Not only will you be able to beat this increase but you can also save a further 10%!!

  Warhammer Historical

Been reading through the rulebook and army books for this and it looks a nice solid little system, dont understand why GW dont make more of it. Anyone interested in historical? I notice GW dont do many good minis for it, are there any decent indie mins for use with the system?

I remember the days when Games Workshop were a publisher not just a miniatures company

Here to honour the true history of the 41st millenium and fix what GW seems hellbent on destroying. Any questions about anything u want light shed on let me know. In short F U GW. Especially Gav Thorpe.

Got e-mail from GW today, Seems they are redoing Daemons for Fantasy and 40k heres what it said....

In August, the immortal legions of the Ruinous Powers - the Chaos Daemons - will pour forth once more from the Realm of Chaos to drown the Warhammer world and the galaxy of the 41st Millennium beneath a tide of blood and destruction. Even now, mystics are assailed by nightmarish visions of horror and death, the fractured minds of madmen echo with sibilant whispers, and the doomed clutch symbols of their weak gods closer to them.

A host of incredible new Citadel miniatures for both Warhammer 40,000 Chaos Daemons armies and Warhammer Daemons of Chaos armies will soon be released upon mortal battlefields. All will be revealed in July here on the Games Workshop website and in August's issue of White Dwarf magazine, so keep an eye out for more information.

  GW Price Hike

Just watched a new vid from Beasts of War. A nice little 30min discussion on the 10% + price rise GW are releasing.

BoW: GW Price Increase

Let us know what you think.

Personally I am reluctant to continue with GW stuff. There are far better games being produced which I could spend my money on and I would have much more fun playing them.

I played Dominion for the 1st time last night and I instantly wanted to purchase it. Look for it in the coming weeks at the club.

Took a year but GW finally got act together and got FAQ sorted, just in time for games on sat was pretty sweet

They answered most things well, but I still think that outside of scenarios there should be a cap on epic heroes/legendary formations based on game size, to stop the ridiculous combos that are possible

Step in right direction though, also they are starting GTs this year, is this gonna be a secondary system they will actually support?? Time will tell

  Professional Painter

Hey folks,
Colin has asked me to post up the following link. Its to a professional painter Barry and I use in Cornwall, called Cornish Mikey. I have had a lot of stuff done by him and I find him very good. He communicates well (unlike another painter I used) with you by e-mail, sends you photos and updates as he completes the work. He does different standards of painting for different prices and assembles the models also. Obviously getting full ranked units painted up will be pricey but he's worth considering if you need a nice centrepiece, nice cav unit, lord, big beasty and you're a crap painter like me Blush
